Imprinting & Enrichment Seminar
Saturday 19th March 2011
It’s only a short time ago now since White Cliffs hosted its second seminar with Denis and An; The second in 12 months I should add. I’m still asking myself questions and kicking myself for not taking more notes; wondering how many of the ‘Golden Nuggets’ they imparted went past me whilst I continued to silently berate myself for my own shortcomings! Don’t say you don’t know what I’m on about!
Denis and An’s style of presentation is so easy and informative that you’re always left knowing more but knowing you want more. They complement each other so well and of course there’s Denis’s wicked sense of humour. I can barely wait until the 28th of May for the Leadership Seminar.
Before I’m accused of being overtly biased I should tell you that, from my vantage point in the room, it was easy to see those who were enlightened and those who were continually enlightened! Need I say more?
The feedback was instant and gratifying and for all those people who found the time to send texts, emails and made phone calls we are immensely grateful. Thanks to all of you who attended and helped to make the day a resounding success. Thanks to those of you who travelled hundreds of miles from the other side of the country and thanks to our members and to family and friends who got stuck in and contributed so much to the organisation and smooth running of the event.
Finally, I urge you to book early for the Leadership Seminar in May. This particular seminar topic has proved hugely popular with both sports dog and pet owners alike. Prepare to be further enlightened!

Through out the year we have hosted club visit's with 'South Valley' and 'Southern Counties' (see our gallery for pictures). A great day is had by all and we always look forward to seeing them again.

Training Seminars & Dog Psychology

The Imprinting & enrichment seminar has been a great success and we would like to share some of the feedback we recieved for those still thinking about attending the next upcoming seminar.
Just thought I would email you to let you know how much I enjoyed the seminar. I learnt a lot about understanding the behaviour of my dogs & I would be very interested in any future seminars with Denis & An. Everyone I spoke to during the day stated how much they enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed the demonstration outdoors, it gave a good insight of what your Club do & how much the dogs enjoy it. I’m looking forward to joining you on Sunday morning to see you train.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Imprinting & Enrichment Seminar, hoping to get puppy soon! I now know the importance of Imprinting. I have not owned puppy for long time.
The seminar also helped me to understand my rescue dog, who I now know must have been taken away from her mother far too young, which may quite possibly affected her whole life. The film of the pigs in the pool was of great help for me to understand what may be going on inside my dogs head. Looking forward to May Seminar!
